JUL-SEP 2013- DWC announces $29 Million in PROJECT 25 awards from Bell County TX, County of Los Angeles, Bay Area Rapid Transit CA, City of Honolulu HI, Los Alamos National Labs NM. Purchases include the latest HARRIS Phase II capable digital trunked technology platforms.
JUNE 2013- LOS ANGELES, CA: Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors award a $18 Million contract for a HARRIS Project 25 network as part of a $30 Million CWIRS rebanding upgrade. This is addition to the already deployed City of Los Angeles’ $30 million HARRIS Project 25 STRS network.
NOVEMBER 2012-LOS ANGELES, CA: DWC announces the purchase of a Multi-million dollar DWC regional implementation and warehouse facility located at 4880 E. Valley Blvd., Los Angeles. This new company-owned facility will consolidate various current DWC offices in Riverside and Orange Counties.
NOVEMBER 2012-SAN ANTONIO, TX: DWC announces the completion of a $6 Million HARRIS VIDA, P25 ISSI, and P25 Simulcast system for the largest County in the Continental U.S. This new P25 Network will be the foundation for serving the County’s growth needs over the next decade(s).
NOVEMBER 2012-SAN ANTONIO, TX: DWC announces a multi-million dollar contract and order from one of the largest U.S. utilities for HARRIS VoIP and Data RF Sites and Terminals. This is the latest expansion of a 60 site network that serves major U.S. metropolitan areas.
OCTOBER 2012-LOS ANGELES, CA: DWC announces completion of a Multi-Million Dollar HARRIS VIDA P25IP Network Switching Center, 700MHz MASTR V Sites, and C3IP Consoles for the Port of Los Angeles. This will serve the Port Authority’s Public Safety and Operations in and around one of the largest U.S. shipping Ports.
OCTOBER 2012-HOUSTON, TX: DWC announces the deployment of a $20 Million HARRIS VIDA Network Switching Center, 20ea 800MHz Sites, and 57ea C3IP Consoles throughout the Greater Houston area. DWC Also celebrates the 3 year anniversary of a $7 Million HARRIS VIDA Network at George Bush Intercontinental for United Airlines.
OCTOBER 2012-WOODLANDS, TX. DWC awarded Million Dollar order for HARRIS VIDA P25IP Network Switching Center and the Standards-Based P25ISSI connection to other Houston, TX area agencies. This will serve the Woodlands Township, City of Conroe, and Montgomery County Hospital District and includes the EDACS IP Gateway.
SEPTEMBER 2012-HOBBS, NM. DWC announces completion of a Multi-Million Dollar HARRIS VIDA P25IP Network Switching Center, 9ea C3IP Consoles, and the EDACS IP Gateway for LCCA. DWC has supported the growing Lea County/Hobbs Network for many years through Future-Ready upgrades and expansions.
SEPTEMBER 2012-TEMPLE, TX. DWC announces completion of a Multi-Million Dollar HARRIS VIDA P25IP Network Switching Center, 700MHz MASTR V Sites, and C3IP Consoles for the BCCC. DWC has supported the growing Central Texas Council of Governments (CTCOG)P25IP Network for over 17 years.
AUGUST 2012-SAN ANTONIO, TX. DWC announces delivery of $4 Million of the latest HARRIS XG-75 P25 Phase 2 Capable Portable radios to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department. DWC installed and maintains the now $60 Million Bexar County/San Antonio Regional 700/800Mhz P16/P25IP Radio Network.
AUGUST 2012-HONOLULU, HI. DWC announces delivery of $5 Million of HARRIS P25 Phase 2 Capable Portable radios to the City and County of Honolulu Police & Fire Departments. DWC installed the City & County HARRIS Digital Network in 1994 that serves most all Public Safety & Transit on Oahu.
JULY 2012-SAN FRANCISCO, CA. DWC announces $3 Million in awards from the Bay Area Regional Transit (BART) for expansion of their HARRIS Simulcast Network and Rebanding Services. DWC earlier this year completed another $3 Million HARRIS P25IP VIDA NSC and a P25IP MASTR V Simulcast system.
JULY 2012-WASHINGTON, DC. FCC announces a treaty with Mexico clearing the way for WAVE 4 rebanding to commence. This affects a number of DWC Border clients from California to Texas. DWC has completed rebanding of 32 Major Public-Safety networks worth some $120 Million in products and services.
JULY 2012-CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. DWC announces the completion of a multi- million dollar HARRIS VIDA NSC and P25 MASTRV 700MHz sites for the Metrocom regional public safety radio network. DWC initially installed the Metrocom network in 1989 and has expanded it to over 14 sites across the Gulf Coast.
JUNE 2012-LOS ANGELES, CA. DWC announces final acceptance of a $30 Million HARRIS 800MHz P25IP Simulcast Network, and 2,000 P25IP radios for the City of Los Angeles, CA. DWC initially installed and has supported the City’s 800MHz STRS HARRIS network for over 18 years.
JUNE 2012-SAN ANTONIO, TX. DWC substantially completes a $5.8 Million contract to relocate the Police & Fire Dispatch Centers for City of San Antonio, America’s 7th largest City. This included the addition of VIDA P25IP Network Switching Center, 700MHz P25IP Sites, and all new C3IP Consoles.
